Happy Birthday Aquarians!

February brings two birthdays to our family!

Bryan celebrated his 32nd birthday on Superbowl Sunday! I made lunch of which we enjoyed garlic chicken, spicy chicken wings, and bbq baby back ribs! Serena and I made cupcakes which we also frosted. Serena had more fun getting frosting on her fingers "accidently" and eating it all up! And best of all the NY Giants won the Superbowl!

Serena's 6th birthday was the next day. We brought Krispy Kreme doughnut holes to share with her kindergarten class and enjoyed a special birthday lunch at one of Serena's restaurants (and ours!) Sushi Boat. After a little afternoon recovery (naptime!), we had Serena's High School Musical themed party at Kidzone. The kids had a great time playing and the adults spent the night chatting away.

And now my birthday party planning is on hold until December . . . whew!

And we start again...

Happy New Year! It's been a rather busy beginning to 2008 and I, once again, was slacking at keeping our family blog updated. So I decided to start anew with this one.

I'm just starting to get back into the swing of life after Winter break. We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and are looking forward to a memorable 2008. Soon we will be celebrating Bryan's and Serena's birthdays and Spring activites will be on its way. Right now we are trying to stay warm during this week's worth of dry, 20 degree weather. The arctic air is bone-chilling!! Hopefully, the forecasters are right and we'll see some snow in the valley this weekend!
